29 CFR 1926.28(a): The employer did not require the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment in all operations where there is an exposure to hazardous conditions or where this part indicates the need for using such equipment to reduce the hazards to the employees: a) On or about August 20, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees used nail guns without safety glasses while performing framing activities. b) On or about August 20, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees working in locations where there was a risk of receiving head injuries did not don a protective helmet. Note: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
