29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(i): Conductors entering cutout boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not protected from abrasions: (a) EXTERIOR BIN 72, NEAR ENTRY DOOR - Employers used a sweep auger to empty the bin and had plugged the sweep auger into a temporarily wired plug and cord assembly. The plug and cord assembly had been wired so the conductors passed through an opening in the bottom of the disconnect switch, and there was nothing to protect the uninsulated conductors from abrasion, on or about July 4, 2019. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
