29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): No employer shall permit an employee to work in such proximity to any part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work, unless the employee is protected against electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means. a. Located at 404 Edinburgh Road in Dublin, Ohio: On or about July 30, 2019, employees were performing fascia work with the use of an aluminum extension ladder onsite. The employer did not ensure that the ladder was maintained a safe distance from an energized overhead 7,620 volt powerline, thereby exposing employees to an electrocution hazard.
