29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Production Area, on or about 04/16/19: Employees performing roofing activities on top of storage sheds were not protected from falling up to 12 feet to the concrete floor below. b) Paint Storage Area, on or about 04/17/19: A guardrail system was not provided along the open side floor to protect employees from falling 7 feet 10 inches to the next lower lever. c) Paint Storage Area, on or about 04/18/19: A guardrail system was not provided along the walkway leading to the paint storage area in that the mid-rail was missing.
