Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed: a) Richardson Tree & Landscaping Co., Inc., fleet yard. On or about April 3, 2019, periodic inspections of the energy control procedures had not been conducted. Employees perform servicing and maintenance on machines and equipment including, but not limited to, semi-tractors. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
