29 CFR 1910.307(b): Documentation for areas designated as hazardous (classified) locations under the Class and Zone system and areas designated under the Class and Division system established after August 13, 2007 was not available to those authorized to design, install, inspect, maintain, or operate electric equipment at the location: Facility: On or about April 1, 2019, the employer did not designate areas where flammable gases or vapors may exist with class and division so as to communicate what electrical equipment was allowed in hazardous areas to those authorized to design, install, inspect, maintain, or operate electric equipment at the location and thereby exposed employees to fire hazards. RBC Industries, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.307(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1270859, citation number 1, item number 9a and was affirmed as a final order on 3/23/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 80 Cypress Street, Warwick, RI 02888.
