29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about March 18, 2019, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 13 feet while performing painting activities on a new commercial building located at 9600 Diamond Center, Mentor, Ohio 44260. The employees were working on the upper level mezzanine and the employer did not ensure that they were using fall protection.
