29 CFR 1910.1053(c): The employer did not ensure that no employee was exposed to an airborne concentration of respirable crystalline silica in excess of 50 ug/m3, calculated as an 8-hour TWA: On or about December 7, 2018, the operator working at the dispersion mixer was exposed to respirable dust containing crystalline silica at 156.329 ug/m3, which is approximately 3.127 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 ug/m3. ; Exposure calculations included a zero increment for 46 minutes not sampled. At this time employees are being exposed to levels of respirable crystalline silica above the PEL.
