29 CFR 1910.1026(c): Employees were exposed to an airborne concentration of chromium (VI) which exceeded 5 micrograms per cubic meter of air, as an 8-hour time-weighted average: (a) Chrome Shop: On October 16, 2018, an employee conducting chrome plating operations was exposed to an airborne concentration to hexavalent chromium at an 8-hour Time Weighted Average of 8.1 micrograms per cubic meter of air for the 477 minute sampling period. The employee was exposed over the permissible exposure limit of 5.0 micrograms per cubic meter of air. (b) Chrome Shop: On October 16, 2018, an employee conducting chrome plating operations was exposed to an airborne concentration to hexavalent chromium at an 8-hour Time Weighted Average of 7.3 micrograms per cubic meter of air for the 472minute sampling period. The employee was exposed over the permissible exposure limit of 5.0 micrograms per cubic meter of air. (c) Chrome Shop: On October 16, 2018, an employee conducting chrome plating operations was exposed to an airborne concentration to hexavalent chromium at an 8-hour Time Weighted Average of 7.3 micrograms per cubic meter of air for the 464 minute sampling period. The employee was exposed over the permissible exposure limit of 5.0 micrograms per cubic meter of air.
