29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer must ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the following: *Guardrail systems; *Safety net systems; *or Personal fall protection systems, such as personal fall arrest, travel restraint, or positioning systems: On or about October 2, 2018, at 8696 NW 13th Terrace, Doral, FL 33126, the employer did not ensure an employee was protected from falling while being exposed to a fall of more than 5 feet when working from the unprotected edge top surface of a Cleveland OES-6.20 Combi Oven-Steamer (SN 1101230001141) to access and clean the overhead hood filters.
