29 CFR 1910.146(c)(1): The employer did not evaluate the workplace to determine if any spaces are permit-required confined spaces. a) On or about August 11th, 2018 or prior thereto: Entry was conducted into a 8000 gallon 1988 Beat Tanker DOT classified 306 trailer to weld a baffle. The employer did not evaluate the tanker to determine if it was a permit-required confined space prior to entry. NOTE: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item.
