29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular hand-fed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood, which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: On or about June 26, 2018, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that Circular hand-fed saws in two instances were guarded: a. On the Saw-Stop Professional Table saw the automatic adjusting hood was missing, exposing employees to the hazards of cuts and amputations. b. On the Powermatic Table Saw, Model 66-TA-Saw the automatic adjusting hood was missing, exposing employees to the hazards of cuts and amputations.
