29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: On or about December 4, 2017 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure a scaffold, being used by employees to perform asbestos removal work activities, was inspected by a competent person to ensure all visible defects were removed before use. This exposed employees to a fall hazard greater than 10 feet to the concrete floor below.
