29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Rungs and steps of portable metal ladders were not corrugated, knurled, dimpled, coated with skid resistant material, or otherwise treated to minimize the possibility of slipping: a) Facility located at 360 Lambs Road, Sewell NJ, Warehouse/Production, C Bay, Burning Area, Stanchion Rack: The rungs to the metal portable job-made ladder used to access the work platform to the vertical metal storage area, were not corrugated, dimpled or treated to minimize slipping, on or about 10/3/2017. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
