Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002A Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.451(c)(1): Supported scaffolds with a height to base width (including outrigger supports, if used) ratio of more than four to one (4:1) shall be restrained from tipping by guying, tying, bracing, or equivalent means, as follows: a) Jobsite: Employees were working from and around a tubular welded frame scaffold, approximately 5 feet wide 32 feet in height and 8 feet in length, without the use of guys, ties or braces; thus exposing employees to scaffold collapse hazards. Condition was noted on or about 12 JUL 2017.
