29 CFR 1910.177(c)(1)(i): The employer did not assure that no employee services any single piece rim wheel unless the employee has been trained and instructed in the correct and safe operating procedures described in 29 CFR 1910.177(g) for servicing single piece rim wheels. (a) 820 Petersburg Road, Carlisle, PA - The employer did not ensure that employees had been trained in the correct and safe operating procedures described within the 1910.177 standard including precautions for preventing tire over inflation and the use of nonflammable lubricants, thereby exposing employees to injuries on or about, July 10, 2017. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
