29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(ii): When mechanical equipment is being used, the warning line was erected less than 6 feet (1.8 m) from the roof edge which is parallel to the direction of mechanical equipment operation, and less than 10 feet (3.1 m) from the roof edge which is perpendicular to the direction of mechanical equipment operation: Roof of building, West side: On or about July 5, 2017, employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet to the ground below while performing work on a roof with a warning line system which was not erected properly.
