29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: On or about April 12, 2017, in the feather building, Employer had no detailed energy control procedures developed for multi energy source equipment, such as the feather hydrolyzer and the feather preheater. The equipment can operate as a system and therefore all energy sources need to be controlled. Energy sources of steam, heat, mechanical and electrical exposed employees to the hazards of being caught in rotating parts, struck by materials, and burned from heat.
