Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.38(b): An emergency action plan was not in writing, kept in the workplace, and available to employees for review: On or about February 24, 2017, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were working in a commercial bakery plant/ware house, in which the employer had not developed and implemented an Emergency Action Plan, and wherein; the employer had not confirmed the buildings maximum occupancy, and wherein Exits were blocked, Exit signs were missing, Exit access/direction of travel signs were missing, Not an Exit or Actual Use signs were missing , and emergency lighting was missing/inadequate, therefore exposing the employees to fire/emergency egress hazards. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
