29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable fire extinguishers are not visually inspected at least monthly: The employer does not ensure portable fire extinguishers located in the front building are inspected monthly. A portable fire extinguisher found in the front building near the time cards was last inspected in July of 2009. This violation was most recently observed on October 5, 2016 and October 12, 2016. Employees are exposed to fire hazards. To abate this violation the employer must ensure portable fire extinguishers located at the facility are inspected monthly.
