29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(i) through (v)), on all open sides: Instance a. Diesel Tank #1 - On or about September 20, 2016, the elevated work platform was not provided with guardrails on the open side of the platform to prevent falls of over 4 feet. Instance b. Flying Bear Chairlift - On or about September 23, 2016, the elevated walkway platform leading to the lift's motor room ladder was not provided with guardrails on the open side of the platform, exposing employees to falls of over 6 feet.
