29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(ii): The employer did not document that equipment complies with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices: a) On or about 9/21/2016, On the roof: The employer did not comply with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEP) such as IIAR 2 2012, section 5.14, when it did not label or mark process piping containing high pressure liquid ammonia, high pressure ammonia vapor and low pressure ammonia exposing employees to the hazard of contact with or inhalation of anhydrous ammonia. b) On or about 9/21/2016, In the engine room: The employer did not comply with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEP) such as IIAR 2 2012, section 5.14, when it did not label or mark process piping containing high pressure liquid ammonia, high pressure ammonia vapor and low pressure ammonia exposing employees to the hazard of contact with or inhalation of anhydrous ammonia. Abatement certification is required for this item.
