Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002A Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. (a) Employees working/walking near wall openings on floors two, three and four were not protected from falling to the lower level. The Construction Management Associates, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1072997, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 16, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 7300 125th Street, Kenosha, WI.
