29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i)(B): The periodic inspection of the energy control procedure was not conducted to correct any deviations or inadequacies: On or about May 18, 2016, employees performed maintenance activities on the Unit 12 South Gas Fan and the employer did not ensure their periodic inspection of the equipment had identified the lack of process to verify zero energy state for electrical energy and the residual energy of the mechanical parts of the fan.
