29 CFR 1910.1000(c): An employee(s) was exposed to crystalline silica quartz in excess of the 8-hour time weighted average limits listed in Table Z-3: a) North Field, Patch Crew - An employee was exposed to respirable dust containing 18% crystalline silica (quartz) at a TWA of 2.24 mg/m3, which was 4.48 times above the permissible exposure level (PEL) of 0.5 mg/m3, and was taken for 448 minutes, on or about June 16, 2016. b) North Field, Patch Crew- A temporary employee of Aerotek LLC was exposed to respirable dust containing 13% crystalline silica (quartz) at a TWA of 1.497 mg/m3, which was 2.24 times above the permissible exposure level (PEL) of 0.667 mg/m3, and was taken for 410 minutes, on or about June 16, 2016.
