29 CFR 1926.451(a)(6): Scaffolds shall be designed by a qualified person and shall be constructed and loaded in accordance with that design. a. On or about December 23, 2011 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees were constructing a wooden canopy structure while working on a self made scaffold, approximately eighteen (18') feet above the ground, that was not designed by a qualified person, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.
