29 CFR 1910.177(c)(1)(i): The employer did not assure that no employee services any single piece rim wheel unless the employee has been trained and instructed in the correct and safe operating procedures described in 29 CFR 1910.177(g) for servicing single piece rim wheels. a) BK Tires, Inc. at 3775 Puritan Way, Frederick, CO 80516: On or before July 16, 2015, the employer failed to assure that employees were trained on the psi limitations of airing up tires to seat the beads. In addition, new employees worked in the shop during the summer before taking the Tire Industry Association (TIA) training in the winter. Condition exposed employees to projectile and struck-by hazards.
