29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: The employer did not provide and ensure the use of eye protection by employees using chemicals such as, but not limited to, Sherwin-Williams Recoatable Epoxy Primer (Part G), Tan / Buff B67H5 and Sherwin-Williams Wash Primer Catalyst Reducer R7K44. This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2015, where employees were exposed to the hazard of contact with corrosive chemicals resulting in burns to the eyes.
