Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about October 8, 2014, employees who were exposed to fall hazards were not trained in fall protection procedures to recognize and minimize those hazards. The J & B Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 936012, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on September 17, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 212 Deer Valley Run, Madison, WI 53713. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH REQUIREMENTS OF 29 CFR 1903.19(D).
