29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Machine Shop: 1) The rotating chucks of three South Bend Lathes were not guarded. Finishing Room: 2) The spindles and grinding wheels of the Delta Drill Presses used for deburring parts were not guarded. Pill Room: 3) The motor coupling of pill machine #3 was not guarded. Mold Room: 4) The back sides of the mold machines were not guarded. 5) The pinchpoints created at Bipel Molding Machines #1, #2, and #6 during the rising of the top plates were not guarded.
