29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: a) Worksite, 8506 N. Monroe Ave., Lindenhurst NY - Employees were exposed to falling approximately 11ft while working from a ladder jack scaffold. The ladder jack brackets were visibly worn and in need of replacement; on or about 8/8/14. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
