29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition. The employer is failing to protect employees from fire and explosion hazards associated with working in a facility with an excessive amount of flammable/explosive dust build up on horizontal services. This was most recently evident during the inspection of the facility located at 2500 Old Hadar Rd. Norfolk, NE 68701; where the employer has employees manufacturing under lament padding made of ground cotton fibers from old denim, the result is a flammable/explosive, very light fluffy dust that resembles lint and whatever is not collected in the facilities dust collection system is settling on the horizontal surfaces throughout the facility as thick as an inch in some locations.
