29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. (a) Location: 305 Beach St, Revere, Ma On or about 7/29/2014, employees were not protected from falling while using a ladder that did not extend at least three feet above the upper landing surface. William Trahant Jr. Construction was previously cited for violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 31556548, citation number 1, item number 002B issued on 7/29/2011 and was affirmed final order on 8/18/11 with respect to a workplace located at 20 Greenwood St, Peabody, Ma.
