29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet(1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Aquilar, Guillermo at 14189 St. Paul Street, Denver, CO 80238: On or before August 27, 2011, the employer did not ensure that employees were using fall protection when framing this residence in the following instances: 1) The employees were framing on the main floor and did not guard the basement stairway hole measuring 8' x 9' with a 10' fall hazard; and 2) Three basement window wells on the south side, each measuring 3' x 4' with a 5'8" fall hazard, were not guarded. Abatement note: Abatement certification is required for this item (See enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
