29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above the lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems nor was another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provided: a) Colin Miracle, Findlay, Ohio: On or about July 29, 2011, at address 209 Terrace Drive, Findlay, Ohio, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls while applying new roofing to a sloped roof on a residential type structure. Employees were exposed to a falls of approximately 7.5 ft. fall to the lower level below.
