29 CFR 1910.1200(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that the hazards of all chemicals produced or imported are evaluated, and that information concerning their hazards is transmitted to employees. This transmittal of information was not accomplished by means of comprehensive hazard communication programs, which are to include container labeling and other forms of warning, material safety data sheets and employee training: a) 300 E. Ayre Street, Newport, DE - The employer did not ensure the employees were provided with information and hazards associated with corrosive chemicals including cleansers, solvents, degreasers such as Morado Super Cleaner and T'N'T Truck & Trailer Wash, and propane, gasoline used at the site. Employer did not have a written hazard communication program or provide employee training. The employees use the chemicals on a daily basis. The violation was observed on or about March 11, 2014.
