29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) Asher Brewing Company, at 4699 Nautilus Court #104, Boulder, CO: On and preceding 3/10/14, Asher Brewing Company did not ensure that where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Employees used BIRKO Corporation Acid Brite #2 (contains 6% nitric acid, 26% phosphoric acid) and BIRKO Corporation Ultra Niter (contains 12% nitric acid, 4% phosphoric acid) when cleaning process equipment. Nitric acid and phosphoric acid are corrosive liquids. An emergency eyewash or shower were not located in the work area. This condition exposed employees to a corrosive liquid hazard.
