29 CFR 1926.451(c)(3): Supported scaffold poles, legs, post, frames, and/or uprights were not plumb and braced to prevent swaying and displacement: a) 104 Emerson Court, southern most unit, end unit - Employees were working approximately 16 feet above the ground, from a pump jack scaffold without proper bracing or equivalent means (poles were braced only at the roof), on or about 03/05/14; b) 104 Emerson Court, unit #3, northern most scaffold setup-Employees were working approximately 7 feet above the ground, from a pump jack scaffold with poles bearing on a scrapped piece of siding, on or about 03/05/14; c) 104 Emerson Court, scaffold setup on the south end of building - Employees were working approximately 12 feet above the ground, from a pump jack scaffold with poles bearing on a scrapped piece of siding, on or about 03/05/14. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
