29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge: a) Sub-contractor's employees were accessing the fifth floor east side stair well landing using stairs, 10 risers in height, without stairrails in place on the open side creating a fall hazard, on or about 12/19/13. For the purposes of this inspection, this employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer of the jobsite. The employer is being cited under OSHA's Multi-Employer Workplace Policy.
