29 CFR 1910.333(c)(8): Conductive articles of jewelry and clothing (such a watch bands, bracelets, rings, key chains, necklaces, metalized aprons, cloth with conductive thread, or metal headgear) was worn where employees might contact exposed energized parts. a) On or about July 10, 2013, the employer did not assure that the employees were protected from shock or electrocution hazard when working around live electrical conductors. Electricians were allowed to wear conductive jewelry when performing trouble shooting on the Mixer electrical panel in the substation 3 vault room.
