29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Top Level Center Front of Structure - Worker was straddling an unfinished wall using a pneumatic nail gun to fasten the top plate to the frame, not protected from falling 28 feet to the ground and scrap material below. b) First Second And Third FLoors - Workers walking and working, framing walls around unguarded wall and window openings, not protected from falling approximately 8 15 and 25 feet to the ground below, on or about 10/31/2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
