Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.403(i)(2)(i): Live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by cabinets or other forms of enclosures, nor by any of the means listed in subparagraph (A) through (D) of this paragraph: a) Basement - Masons were exposed to a 120 volt electrical shock hazard from a Cutler Hammer service distribution panel which was not provided with a cover that would protect the workers from accidentally coming in contact with 120 volt live parts, on or about 05/21/2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
