29 CFR 1910.107(b)(9): A clear space of not less than 3 feet on all sides was not kept free from storage or combustible construction: On or about July 24, 2013, the employer did not ensure that a clear space of at least 3 feet was maintained on all sides of the following spray paint booths located in the Dry Film Building at 80 Grassmere Ave when employees used Everlube 620c, which contained methyl ethyl ketone, which is flammable: (a) Material stored around booth number 1 included but was not limited to a Safety Kleen parts washer, which contained flammable methyl ethyl ketone. (b) Material stored around booth number 4 included but was not limited to a 4 tiered metal storage shelf that housed at least 5 boxes of material.
