29 CFR 1918.82(a): Means were not taken to prevent cargo from falling from drafts: The Port of Wilmington Delaware, M/V Trans Summer, No. 4 Hold - The employer did not take means such as, but not limited to, utilizing a square hulled ship to stow coiled wire rod cargo and / or shoring, chocking and lashing this cargo, means to uniformly distribute this cargo and prevent its shifting to an unstable hazardous condition while in transit and at port prior to unloading. On or about May 16, 2013. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit abatement certification and documentation, required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
