29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) On or about April 25, 2013Job site at 2-26 149 Place Whitestone, NY 11357 Employees re-shingling a roof 28-feet above the next lower level using a ladders to access the roof that were 8-inches to 10-inches above the roofline. LATINO SIDING CO. INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDERD 1926.1053(b)(1), OR ITS EQUIVALENT, WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 313432494, CITATION NUMBER 02, ITEM NUMBER 002, ISSUED ON 11/30/2011 WHICH BECAME A FINAL ORDER DATE ON 12/23/2011.
