29 CFR 1926.451(f)(4): Part(s) of a scaffold that were damaged or weakened, such that the scaffold's strength was less than that required by paragraph (a) of this section, were not immediately repaired, replaced, braced to meet those provisions, nor removed from service until repaired. A. On or about April 26, 2013, an employee performed stucco work from a scaffold that had been installed with cross-brace rods that were bent. This condition exposed employees to fall and crushing type hazards should the scaffold collapse. This scaffold was located near the northeast end of the building. The fall distance from the working level where the employee worked to the ground below was approximately 15 feet. B.
