29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a. Entire facility - On or about April 4, 2013, the employer had not conducted periodic inspections of established energy control procedures in place for employees who perform servicing and maintenance on such equipment including, but not limited to, conveyors and mixers. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with the unexpected energization of equipment.
