29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2)(iii): Frequent Inspection: Monthly inspection of overhead crane load hooks, with a certification record which included the date of inspection, the signature of the person who performed the inspection and an identifier of the hook which was inspected, was not performed. (a) On, or at dates prior to March 13, 2013, employees were exposed to a struck by hazard from possible failure of load hooks because monthly inspections for deformities or cracks were not accomplished or documented.
