29 CFR 1910.94(a)(3)(i)(e)(1): Doors shall be flanged and tight when closed: (a) Shot Blast - The rubber belting at the bottom of the door of the Wheelabrator had become worn, and the machine expelled abrasive steel shot continuously exposing employees to a struck-by hazard, on or about January 11, 2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
