OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that, the employer failed to ensure their portable ladder extended approximately three feet above the point of support at the roof line. a) The residential jobsite at the Retreat at Lost Mountain: a portable ladder being used by employees was not placed so that the ladder side rails was at least 3 feet above the surface level, exposing employees to a fall hazard. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED.
